DANSE MACABRE: The Constant Compantion
Part One of Three
By Two Star Symphony and Bobbindoctrin Puppet Theatre
Bobbindoctrin Puppet Theatre and Two Star Symphony team up for the first time for the first part of their
series of three - DANSE MACABRE. Told with a blend of music, Pixelvision video, and tabletop and shadow
puppetry, Part One: The Constant Companion, chronicles the last moments of Sid, a suicide victim who,
after meticulously planning his own death, changes his mind. But his constant companion won't let him
turn back...
DANSE MACABRE - Part One: The Constant Companion is the first of three collaborations between Bobbindoctrin and Two Star Symphony.
Each installment is a different perspective of death. Part One is an exploration of the isolation of death. Part Two is a look at death on a mass scale.
The third movement will be the dance of the dead scheduled to take place in October 2005.
